Leonardo DiCaprio sa už niekoľko mesiacov snaží predať luxusnú vilu, ktorú pôvodne kúpil pre svojho otca. Situácia ho dokonca prinútila výrazne znížiť cenu, aby sa nechcenej nehnuteľnosti konečne zbavil.
Herec kúpil dom na predmestí Los Angeles v roku 2018 od speváka Mobyho. Zaobstaral ho pre svojho rodinného príslušníka, pričom viacero zdrojov potvrdilo, že tam býval jeho otec. Ten sa však z luxusného sídla odsťahoval, tak sa ho DiCaprio pokúšal predať.
Vila pochádza z roku 1926 a postavená bola v tudorovskom štýle. Rozprestiera sa na pozemku o rozlohe 4644 metrov štvorcových. Má kompletne zrenovovanú kuchyňu, jedáleň, miestnosť na cvičenie jogy, veľkú obývačku s krbom, päť spální a luxusnú kúpeľňu so saunou. Priamo na záhrade sa nachádza bazén a vonkajšie posedenie na krytej terase.
Leonardo sa ju prvýkrát pokúšal predať v lete minulého roka. Pôvodne za ňu žiadal 5,75 miliónov dolárov, ale nikto o ňu nemal záujem. Po niekoľkých mesiacoch ju stiahol z predaja a urobil menšie rekonštrukcie a dizajnové zmeny. Ani to však nepomohlo a na trh prišiel s podstatne nižšou ponukou. Tentoraz od kupca žiada 4,9 miliónov dolárov.
