Manžel britskej kráľovnej Alžbety II. (94) bol v utorok v noci prevezený do nemocnice. Informoval o tom v oficiálnom stanovisku Buckinghamský palác: „Jeho kráľovská Výsosť, vojvoda z Edinburghu, bol prijatý do londýnskej Nemocnice Kráľa Edwarda VII. v utorok večer.“ Ide iba o preventívne opatrenia na odporúčanie Philipovho lekára. V nemocnici je na pozorovaní. Mal by tam zostať niekoľko dní. Princ oslávi o štyri mesiace úctyhodných sto rokov.
Bez húkačiek
Zdroj z paláca krátko po zverejnení prehlásenia odmietol tvrdenie, že by hospitalizácia súvisela s nákazou koronavírusom. Taktiež nešlo o akútny prevoz. Princ Philip bol do nemocnice dopravený autom, nie sanitkou. Do budovy vošiel bez cudzej pomoci. Princ a jeho manželka, kráľovná Alžbeta, pred mesiacom dostali prvú dávku vakcíny proti ochoreniu covid-19. Ďalšia by mala nasledovať v najbližších dňoch.
